Following our recent expansion into Westford, Massachusetts, this past Wednesday night marked another special day in Pulse Secure’s history — a group of Pulse Secure representatives (Steve Erickson and myself) were invited to a welcome reception, hosted by MassEcon, honoring new and innovative companies in the commonwealth. The event was held at Genzyme headquarters in Cambridge, and 16 companies were recognized for making Massachusetts their home.
While we loved the recognition, the real headliner of the evening was the newly elected governor of Massachusetts, Charlie Baker. Talk about bringing in the big guns, right? Meeting Governor Baker was quite an honor, and not just because we were able to take a selfie with him! During our brief visit, Steve and I emphasized the importance of having parts of our industry-leading sales and engineering operations in Massachusetts. He shared our enthusiasm for not only the space that we occupy, but also or being well-positioned in our industry and being able to take advantage of the wealth of top-level engineering talent that the region has to offer.
The governor’s words at the event were truly inspiring. We at Pulse Secure are fortunate enough to have offices in two very important technology hotspots – San Jose and Massachusetts. Because of this, Pulse Secure, and the 15 other companies honored on Wednesday night, are in an ideal spot to push the envelope in each respective industry. In our case, allowing to enterprises to stay connected from any location and any device while keeping employees secure.
A big “thank you” to MassEcon for hosting Pulse Secure and to Governor Baker for indulging our selfie request!
